The thing is, I enjoy a good pint down at the pub and listen to my buddies tell me their stories, especially the rare and funny ones that bring the tears and you wake up the next day with a sore stomach.

Well, one day at work, doing something that was important I guess, I forget now, my mind started to wander. I was doodling something, thinking of a perticular past story that my friend told me. It still cracks me up to this day and after a chuckle, you know type when when you look up and people look at you as if you are mad. I thought, "That is a damn funny story, he should blog it or something and share with the world."And so Spressif was born, although the name hadn’t been thought up yet.

So a pub lunch ensued and after getting Riley to agree, we set out on this little venture. He did mention he doesn’t finish anything he starts, and so, I needed to keep him motivated. What he didn’t realise is, he gave me carte blanche to ‘motivate’ him. You see, I get bored easily, and he was the new kid on the block, so for entertainment purposes and to make the day go faster, I proceeded to nag Riley for 6 months, and then remind him I am only doing what he asked me to do - A trick my girlfriend taught me.

After some hard work and late nights of figuring out the hows, whens and the whats, Spressif was brought from imagination to reality. Riley has done a fantastic job, thanks bro. Also, I have to thank Rob, another buddy of mine who is a fantastic illustrator for doing the lovely picture, and I apologise for harassing him also, sorry dude.

Just to let you all know, we are going to constantly strive to perfect Spressif and you will find regular changes happening. Also, feel free and find the feedback form to let us know of changes you would like to see. Let the compliments and more so the criticism flow, we can handle it. Please look out for our little launch party happening in London soon. As soon as we have some content we will let you know. Anyway, I have one rule, it’s an important rule, and that is to have fun and enjoy this new site. Take care all.
