Although I am not young by youthful estimations I enjoy a pretty ecletic musical range. So why should I be pigeon holed as an "oldie". I like Green Day, Placebo, Elbow, Arcade Fire,Ting tings, Muse, plus classic bands like Pink Floyd and White Stripes and a whole load of stuff not yet discovered.
Music should be beyond boundaries and I shall continue to enjoy new bands as long as possible. Don’t label us, we are the life blood of the new frontier and should be able to boogie with the rest of you. xx

Word to that! Next problem we have to tackle that will aid your own quest for musical acceptance is to get more people over 35 in the charts (although Madonna should cover herself up, really!). Did you hear about The Geriatrics? A band of 80+'s singing The Who's My Generation... I'm not sure they'll take off but it's a start!

Well, I know I am getting on in years but to compare me to The Geriatrics is just rude! I never thought I would say this but hey guys you did not invent all that is cool. We were there once and can also progress through to current musical layers without prejudice. Some of us want to champion all that is new, original and unique.
