Wow - snow was my reaction when I woke this morning. And then the dilemmas began. Do I go to work - Is it safe to drive - Could I possibly walk however many miles to work. So to the news - oh good - the buses are not running - the trains are not running - the airports are closed. Decision made - back to bed. Then the guilt sets in. So up I get - I have decided that I will try to drive around the corner just to see what the roads are like. Bob (my husband) thinks - that means I have to get up as well cos I cannot let her go on her own. So to our mini adventure. We get the broom out to sweep the 9 ins of snow of the 4x4. Put the seat warmers on and set off down the road. Our car is fine but at the end of the road we have to stop and help push some

who has got stuck. There must be loads of these

on the road this morning and although my car is ok they could easily crash into me. Decision made - a day off.

JUSTIFICATION for staying at home.
